Finally the moment was there, the København derby! (FC København vs. Brondby 12/08/2018) This derby was on our list for a very long time so we managed to get tickets we were very happy. All thanks to our contact at FC København who gave us a private tour in the stadium and also introduced us to the lads of Urban Crew. Who were actually preparing their tifo for the derby against Brøndby. Check out the pictures and video below, in which we try to take you along on this amazing trip.
First up, take the plane to Copenhagen, luckily only a short flight for us.
After we went to our hotel to get rid of our luggage it was time for some beers and of to the stadium for our tour.
After that we went to see some lads of the Urban Crew who were preparing the tifo for the next day.
Behind Sektion 12 there was some amazing graffiti about the club, Sektion 12 and the city!
We stayed for some time in the stadium, talking with some of the Urban Crew. Really impressed about how everything is organized! After this tour, we were driven to our hotel to get some food and get ready for some beer time!
Next day, matchday! Really buzzing and can’t wait to go to the stadium. Once again, our contact sorted everything for us and we could go wherever we wanted during the match. We were able to go wherever we want at the stadium and decided to go VIP sector during the match, so we would be able to take some nice pictures and videos and get the best possible view on the atmosphere and the tifo actions they made!
We went to the stadium early, so we could have a good view on everything. When we entered the VIP stand, the Sektion 12 was already packed and singing loud. See the video and enjoy (ps: this was 1,5h before the match!!)
And ofcourse, sad but true. All good things come to an end, our weekend was over and we had to leave again. What an amazing trip it was, thanks to the lads of Urban Crew who were very open and friendly. Special thanks ofcourse to our contact at København who arranged everything for us. Many thanks!
And before we left we got some presents as well, great!
Next trip is the Hamburg derby between HSV and St. Pauli at the end of september, which should be really interesting. Also later this year we have the Old Firm derby for you guys. Stay tuned!
